A sigh,  a meaningless nothing,  swept off the tongues  of embers.   
They drifted,  aged,  grayed,  layering missing vibrance.   
Curling,  weaving into the arms of  a disenchanted willow,  the trunk hunched towards life.   
Those of many  trickled down vines,  losing themselves  on the way down.   
Few, scattered few,  gleaming with envy,  fear, hope,  strayed from listlessness.
